The Ukulele Foundation of Hawai`i

Our mission is to establish an ukulele museum that will facilitate social, educational and cultural activities in a friendly environment that perpetuates happiness and joy of the ukulele.

Charitable activities

Since the Foundation’s incorporation in October 2007, we have hosted two major fundraising events.

  • May 6, 2007 `Ukulele Pa`ina (raised money for Shriners Hospitals for Children)
  • December 2, 2007 Christmas `Ukulele Pa`ina (raised money for the children of Soweto, South Africa and Shriners Hospitals for Children).

We have also provided several free ‘ukulele workshops, seminars and concerts at the Honolulu Shriners Hospitals for Children, a nonprofit organization.
